Bacteriostatic waterSterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which stops bacterial growth in a multi-use vial.
BatchPeptide synthesised and purified in one run, assayed together and sharing a certificate.
COACertificate of analysis: the independent lab report for a batch.
EndotoxinFragments of bacterial cell walls, measured in EU/mg.
HPLCHigh-performance liquid chromatography, the purity assay.
LyophilisedFreeze-dried. The stable, powdered form of a peptide.
Mass spectrometryIdentity assay: confirms the molecular weight matches the target peptide.
Net peptide contentThe share of the vial mass that is peptide rather than salts and water.
Pre-mixedAlready in solution. Store cold; nothing to reconstitute.
PurityThe main HPLC peak as a percentage of all peaks.
ReconstitutionDissolving lyophilised powder in water to make a solution.
