Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of human growth hormone-releasing hormone, built on all 44 amino acids of the native sequence with a trans-3-hexenoyl group added at the N-terminus, which makes it more resistant to enzymatic breakdown. It is supplied here as a pre-mixed solution for controlled analytical and in-vitro experimentation.
In research it is used as a GHRH-receptor agonist in receptor-binding and signalling studies, and in comparative work on peptide stability.
