BPC-157 and TB-500: the “wolverine stack” explained

Wolverine stack is a nickname, not a product. It refers to two research peptides, BPC-157 and TB-500, used together.

What the wolverine stack is

The wolverine stack, or wolverine peptide, is the informal name for the combination of BPC-157 and TB-500. The name comes from online communities and borrows from the comic-book character. It is not a scientific term, and it does not describe a single compound or a standard formulation.

A BPC-157 and TB-500 blend is the two peptides supplied in one vial. Blends from different suppliers vary in how much of each they contain, so the ratio on the label matters more than the name.

The two peptides

What it isSynthetic peptide of 15 amino acidsSynthetic peptide modelled on thymosin beta-4
OriginFragment of a protein described in gastric juiceThe actin-binding region of a protein found in most cells
Studied inSignalling and blood-vessel models, tendon cell culturesActin binding, cytoskeleton and cell-migration studies

Each has its own explainer: what is BPC-157? and what is TB-500?

Why they are studied together

The two peptides appear in overlapping areas of preclinical research, particularly cell migration and blood-vessel formation, but they are thought to act through different mechanisms. That makes the pair a natural subject for comparative work: one compound, the other, and both together in the same model.

The published research examines each peptide separately. There is very little controlled work on the combination, and we make no claim that the two have a combined effect.

Blend ratios vary

There is no standard wolverine blend. Most are sold with equal amounts of the two peptides, such as 5mg of each or 10mg of each in one vial, but the split is the supplier's choice and some differ. Two blends with the same name can hold different amounts, so compare the milligrams of each peptide, not the product title.

A blend also fixes the ratio. Work that needs to vary one peptide against the other needs them in separate vials.

Buying BPC-157 and TB-500 in the UK

We do not sell a two-peptide wolverine blend. The pair is available from us in two ways.

  • Separately, as a BPC-157 10mg vial and a TB-500 10mg vial, each pre-mixed in 3ml. This keeps the two apart, which is what a comparative study needs.
  • Together in the glow stack, which holds BPC-157 10mg and TB-500 10mg with GHK-Cu 50mg, or the klow stack, which adds KPV 10mg.

See BPC-157, TB-500, the glow stack and the klow stack. Every batch ships cold from the UK with its certificate of analysis.

Research use onlyBoth peptides are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not medicines and are not for human or animal use. Both are on the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list.

Common questions

Is the wolverine stack one peptide? No. It is two, BPC-157 and TB-500, either in separate vials or blended in one.

Does the glow stack contain the wolverine stack? It contains both peptides, at 10mg each, together with 50mg of GHK-Cu.

Is “wolverine peptide” a different product? No. It is another name for the same pairing.
